The success of our PTO would not be possible without the work of our leadership team. Each of these individuals donates their time and talents to make Radiant Elementary a great place for our students.

2024 - 2025 OPEN POSITIONS
Board Positions
Presidents: Alyssa Jasper
Treasurer: Julie Timm
Creates (along with the Co-Vice Presidents) and maintains the PTO budget. Works closely with the VPs and all committee chairs on all budget issues. Disburses checks and submits deposits, while working closely with the District Treasurer.
Committees
Activities: Ashley Taylor (NEED 2-3) 1 Chair and 1-2 to help on committee
Responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating family and school events that promote community throughout the year. Some examples would be a Movie Night and Spring Carnival. A Science and Art Fair will also be offered for students to participate in.
Apparel Sales: Ashley Smith
Organize and work with the design, ordering and distribution of apparel sales.
Book Fair: Jen Beyers (NEED 2-3) 1 Chair and 1-2 to help on committee
Works with the Librarian to schedule, arrange, set-up, tear down and staff the book fair twice a year at conference time.
Classroom Coordinator: Megan AcAtee
Recruit homeroom parents and provides the homeroom parent guidance to support the teachers and the classroom through classroom parties, volunteer or supply needs.
Communications: Katelyn Moe
Manages the communication and membership of Radiant PTO with attention to keeping the Radiant staff, parents and students feeling welcome and informed at PTO meetings and events and through various media.
Coordinates the meals for teachers during the Fall & Spring conferences including planning, set-up, tear-down and purchasing supplies as needed based on the budget.
Fundraising/Fun Run: Destinee Debates (NEED 1-4)
Coordinates PTO fundraising activities (Fun Run primary event) and events throughout the year to support the PTO budget in supporting the Radiant Elementary.
School Supplies: (NEED 1)
Coordinates the order of the school supplies with the District PTO and the distribution of supplies before school starts.
Staff Appreciation: Alyssa Meier
Organizes small ways to show appreciation to all staff throughout the year. Creates a special week of events/treats for the staff during the first week in May (School Staff/Teacher Appreciation week).
Yearbook: Katie Mulera and Ashley Villoti
Works with the Radiant staff, homeroom parents and the yearbook printing company, to create a quality yearbook.
Striders: (NEED 1)
The Committee coordinates volunteers to monitor the laps students run/walk during recess, three days per week. The Committee documents each student's progress and offers milestone incentives. Striders encourages participation at Grand Blue Mile Kids Strong event in April during the Drake Relays, for those who qualify. Timing – Late Summer/early Fall organization of student lap cards/charts, continues all school year
